Welcome to Our Lady's
On behalf of the staff, governors and children, I would like to welcome you to Our Lady’s Catholic Academy website. This site is designed to be a source of information for our school community and a celebration of our children's many achievements. We also hope that if you are not familiar with Our Lady's, this website will provide you with an insight into our ethos, values and commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
Our Lady's Catholic Academy is very proud to be part of the All Saints Catholic Collegiate. Alongside three other Catholic primary academies; we work closely with our high school, St Thomas More Catholic Academy, to ensure outstanding transition and progress from Foundation Stage to Sixth Form.
At Our Lady's, we passionately believe that each child is made in the image of God and that we, working alongside families, have the privilege of bringing them to a deeper knowledge of Christ and a fuller awareness of their own part in His plan. As a Catholic school, we offer an education firmly based upon our Gospel values and our Mission statement reflects the priority for all children to be 'cherished and challenged to achieve'.
The fantastic team of dedicated staff ensure the needs of each individual child are met; working closely with parents and carers to enable pupils to make excellent progress and reach their full potential. We are very proud of the recent Ofsted report where behaviour was judged to be outstanding. Our pupils are 'proud of their school and have exceptionally positive attitudes to learning.'
Please call 01782 235385 to make an appointment if you would like to visit.
I look forward to meeting you in the future.
